Job description:
Electronic technicians specialising in Energy and Building Systems Engineering plan and install electronic plants for the power supply and infrastructure of buildings. They assemble them, start them up and maintain or repair them.
Electronic technicians specialising in Energy and Building Systems Engineering find jobs mainly in electrical engineering companies, e.g. technical building outfitters or in businesses, which install lighting and signal systems for streets and railways. Beyond that, they find employment in the real estate businesses, e.g. in Facility Management or caretaking. Producers of electric distribution and switch systems or energy production plants, such as wind energy plants, open up further job possibilities.
